Sweden: Funeral of Count Carl Johan Bernadotte
The funeral of Count Carl Johan Bernadotte af Wisborg took place today at 11 am at Maria Church in Bastad. Except the immediate family of Carl Johan, his second wife Countess Gunilla Bernadotte and children Christian Bernadotte & Monica Bonde af Björnö, the funeral was attended by King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel & Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, as well as King's sisters Princess Margaretha, Mrs. Ambler, Princess Désirée, Mrs. Silfverschiöld with her son Carl Silfverschiöld and Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson. Also Queen Margrethe of Denmark with Prince Henrik, Princess Benedikte of Denmark & Queen Anne-Marie of Greece attended the funeral of their uncle.
