King Carl Gustaf & Queen Silvia of Sweden continued today their 3 days long state visit to South Korea.
In the morning King participated in a seminar with the business delegation on the theme of
Innovation, and a research seminar organized by the Royal Academy of Sciences in
cooperation with the Korean Academy of Science and Technology. The program also
included lunch with the Federation of Korean Industries and a visit to Autoliv
Korea.
Meanwhile Queen Silvia opened the Sweden-Korea Dementia Forum and visits Buchon
Geriatric Medical Centre in connection with a seminar. The program continued
with lunch and a visit to the International Vaccination Institute.
The
afternoon program will concluded with a press conference for Swedish media at the Shilla Hotel.
Among other thing's the Carl Gustaf commented the invitation of Sofia Hellqvist & Christopher O'Neill to the christening of Princess Estelle.
It is quite natural. Right? It was the most natural thing in the world. But it is obviously always fun when you can not only collect the small and close family but also friends and relatives and so on.
Meanwhile Silvia commented on Estelle and admitted that she misses her granddaughter.
Of course I miss her, so much is happening right now. She is barely three months and things are happening all the time and she developing. There is a little person in there. Before she was a cute little doll. But now she can laugh and watch. You get almost a conversation with her.
In the evening, the royal couple gave a return dinner for their Korean
hosts.

King Harald & Queen Sonja of Norway attended today service in Oslo Cathedral. They were joined by Crown Prince Haakon & Crown Princess Mette-Marit with their children Marius Borg Hoiby & Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and also by Princess Märtha Louise & her husband Ari Behn.

Today King Harald & Queen Sonja of Norway appeared at the balcony of Royal Palace in Oslo to watch The King's Guard's performance in the Palace Square. They were joined by their whole family, Crown Prince Haakon & Crown Princess Mette-Marit with their children Marius Borg Hoiby, Princess Ingrid Alexandra & Prince Sverre Magnus, as well as Princess Märtha Louise & Ari Behn with their daughters Maud Angelica, Leah Isadora & Emma Tallulah. Both Harald & Sonja are celebrating their 75th birthday this year.
Norway: Harald & Sonja receive congratulatory deputations
King Harald & Queen Sonja of Norway received congratulatory deputations on the occasion of their 75th anniversaries. During the day they received the Mayor of Oslo, followed by representatives for the Norwegian municipalities, the Church, the County Governors, the Defence, the Sami Parliament and the Diplomatic Corps, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Mr Tore Schei, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and President of the National Assembly, Mr Dag Terje Andersen.

Sweden: State visit to South Korea - day 1
King Carl Gustaf & Queen Silvia of Sweden started today 3 days long state visit to South Korea. The state visit started with the laying of a wreath at the Memorial Tower and continued with an official welcoming ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
Afterwards King Carl Gustaf and South Korean president Lee Myung-bak had conversation in which the Swedish cabinet ministers were also involved. The Queen and Mrs. Kim Yoon-ok meanwhile held a separate meeting.
While Carl Gustaf attended luncheon hosted by the Korea-Sweden Cultural Society, Silvia attended a lunch with Korean women leaders at Ewha Women’s University. Afterwards, the Queen opened The Swedish Film Week at the university.
